Oyster Bay State Highway 63 vineyard

At 258 hectares planted, this vineyard on the central Wairau Plains, about 15 minutes drive from Blenheim, is the largest Oyster Bay vineyard and is also one of the largest individual vineyards in New Zealand. It is a unique site with three distinct terraces, each with slightly different soils. It is planted sauvignon blanc 59%, chardonnay 33% and
pinot noir 8%.

Oyster Bay Fault Lake vineyard

This prime, central Wairau Valley vineyard will have a maiden harvest in 2004. It is planted with 171 hectares of vines - nearly half in sauvignon blanc and the balance in pinot noir and chardonnay. Development started in 2001.

Oyster Bay Wairau River vineyard

In 2003, the vineyard was established with the planting of 132 hectares of sauvignon blanc. This picturesque site is only 400m from the Wairau River and it's also very close to the Oyster Bay State Highway 63 vineyard - Oyster Bay's largest.

A large proportion of the nearby river flows underground.
